About Us
National Bond and Trust
Company, Inc. (NBT)
was founded to assist organizations both large and small to provide
U.S. Savings Bond programs to their valued employees through payroll
deduction.
In 1976 R. J. LaMere founded the company in Crown Point, Indiana with
one employer group, the city of East Chicago, Indiana, which is still a
client today. In 2007 we marked our 31st year as a premier benefit
provider for the American worker. We currently issue approximately
350,000 U.S. Savings Bonds worth over $20,000,000 per month. NBT prints
and mails bonds directly to our customers, helping literally millions
of working men and women achieve a better life by investing their hard
earned dollars in America and their future. U.S. Savings Bonds are the
most widely held security in the world and we at NBT are proud of our
contribution to the continued growth of the program.
Through our optional Bond Continuation Life Insurance program, we have
helped hundreds of thousands of people plan for their families' futures
even after their death.
Our mission is to create value for employers by providing meaningful
benefits to your employees. In caring for your employees, we strive to
provide professional, accurate and efficient service in the processing
of both their U.S. Savings Bonds and Bond Continuation Life Insurance.
